El Mirador 24. Baño privado

Small, good, modern hotel about half a mile from the centre. Positive: The Mirador is a small hotel (13 rooms). Rooms are smallish, very modern and clean. TV (streaming services-ready) and fridge in the room. Simple, clean shower and toilet. Coffee, tea and toast making facilities are on the ground floor. Cleaners are busy every day and your room can be serviced as often as you like. We stayed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year. Very enjoyable. NB This is not negative criticism but people of limited mobility, as we are, should be aware of the following: the hotel has no elevator so try to book a room on ground or first floor. Room 1 looked excellent. The nearest crossing point to the promenade and beach is 150m away along the main road below. It is a 15-20 minute walk into the central restaurant district. So be prepared to use taxis. Negative: See above, and be aware that the hotel is on a busy road. No kettles in the rooms.
